Graphic Design Intern
January 2022 - April 2022

Worked on a 2-3 person graphic team, in a fast-growing activewear company to develop concepts, create graphics and complete tech packs for Apparel, Footwear & Accessories. Ensure each graphic/story fits brand DNA.

Collaborate with Apparel, Footwear and Accessory teams to create placed graphics, all over prints, repeat prints, color opportunities and branding guidelines. Work with multiple printing techniques (sublimation, heat transfer, screen printing, etc.) and natural dyeing techniques.

Conduct ongoing market research and present weekly findings and suggestions for collections with moodboards and strong concept.

Manage tech packs, updating color ways and graphics across Apparel, Footwear and Accessories. Manage samples for color approval within graphics to ensure consistency (tie dye, gradients, color dyeing, etc.).

Test various graphic sizes, scales, and placements while creating at-scale mockups and providing options and suggestions.

Photoshoot Manager, Print Design Assistant
April 2021 - August 2021

Managed multiple projects for an eCommerce based sleep wear company that focuses on Family Matching Pajamas.

Assisted in weekly photoshoots, creating a fun, high energy environment for models (ages 3 - 40) through conversation and music. Oversaw product image development from garment prep and styling to post-photoshoot editing.

Utilized Adobe Photoshop to edit photos (Color Enhancing, Background Removal, Puppet Warping, etc.) and organized them for the 3 eCommerce sites.

Assisted in the development of over 20 print designs across 8 brands for the Spring 2022 collections. Researched trends for the different age groups and collected inspiration imagery. Developed multiple color ways and iterations.

Approved pre-production samples, fabric swatches and lab dips while organizing samples by brand and style.

Technical Design Intern

Colony Brands

Worked on multiple brands owned by Colony Brands: Midnight Velvet, Ashro, Monroe & Main, Seventh Avenue, etc.

Assisted and led daily fittings for standard and plus size garments, taking notes and making adjustments to send to international vendors.

Utilized Adobe Illustrator to make digital corrections, worked in Flex PLM to internally communicate specs.

Conducted research projects to better understand consumer of Colony Brands, adjust fit/patterns, and differentiate body shapes within consumers.
